Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Understand requirements and create detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for web and API applications.
Automate test scripts using Selenium / Python / Java-based frameworks.
Execute SQL queries for backend data validation.
Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA / Bugzilla.
Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation coverage, and quality metrics.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives).

Desired Candidate Profile

05 years of experience in Manual and/or Automation Testing.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and different testing methodologies.
Proficiency in Selenium with Java/Python for automation.
Experience in API testing using Postman or REST Assured.
Database knowledge (SQL, Oracle) for backend validation.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, or Git is a plus.
Good analytical and communication skills.
