Software Tester (Playwright)

Your responsibilities will include automating end-to-end regression and functional test cases for web applications, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers to identify and fix automation gaps, analyzing automation test failures, and ensuring high test reliability. Additionally, you will develop a reusable automation framework for scalability, participate in sprint activities, and ensure cross-browser and cross-platform coverage using Playwright capabilities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts using Playwright. - Automate end-to-end regression and functional test cases for web applications. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate with developers to identify and fix automation gaps. - Analyze automation test failures, debug issues, and ensure high test reliability. - Develop a reusable automation framework for scalability. - Participate in sprint activities: test planning, estimation, and execution. - Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform coverage using Playwright capabilities. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong hands-on experience in Playwright (JavaScript). - Proficiency in writing test scripts, assertions, and reusable utilities. - Good knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM, REST APIs). - Experience in API automation with Playwright or supporting libraries. - Familiarity with version control (Git) and Agile methodologies. - Exposure to reporting frameworks (Allure, Extent Reports, etc.). - Knowledge of CI/CD tools for automation integration. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
