Software Tester

As a Software Tester, your role involves analyzing requirements and creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases. You will be responsible for performing manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure functionality and usability. Additionally, you will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc. Your tasks will also include identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar platforms. Collaboration with developers and product teams to resolve issues and enhance product quality is an essential part of your responsibilities. You will also conduct regression and performance testing when necessary, as well as participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting activities. Furthermore, maintaining and updating test automation frameworks will be part of your routine. Qualifications Required: - At least 2 years of experience in software testing, encompassing both manual and automation testing. - Profound knowledge of testing concepts, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and the defect lifecycle. - Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Postman, JMeter, etc. - Familiarity with test case management and bug tracking tools. - Good understanding of databases and proficiency in writing basic SQL queries. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
