About the Role

We are looking for a Software Tester with proven expertise in Manual Testing and Automation Testing for both Web and Mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test planning, execution, and defect tracking, along with hands-on experience using automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and TestNG. This is an onsite role in Coimbatore with opportunities to work on enterprise-grade applications in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and prepare test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform Manual Testing for Web and Mobile applications, covering functionality, UI/UX, compatibility, and usability.
• Develop, maintain, and execute Automation Scripts using Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Conduct API Testing using Postman or REST Assured.
• Execute cross-browser and cross-platform testing for quality assurance.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Collaborate closely with development, design, and product teams to ensure high product quality.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of combined experience in Manual & Automation Testing for Web and Mobile platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for Web testing and Appium for Mobile testing.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for automation scripting.
• Experience in API Testing.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.
• Knowledge of AI-based or advanced automation testing tools.
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter.
