Software Tester- Core Banking

As a QA Tester for Core Banking applications, your primary responsibility will be to conduct manual functional, regression, and integration testing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of the Core Banking software by preparing, reviewing, and executing test cases and scenarios based on functional specifications. It will be essential to identify, document, and track defects to guarantee comprehensive test coverage and timely bug reporting. Collaborating with various stakeholders, including business analysts and developers, will be key to aligning the product quality with business needs. Additionally, your participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other QA activities will contribute to the overall testing progress. Key Responsibilities: - Perform manual functional, regression, and integration testing of Core Banking applications - Prepare, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios based on functional specifications - Identify, document, and track defects, bugs, and inconsistencies - Ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely bug reporting - Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure product quality and alignment with business needs - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other QA activities - Provide status reports, test metrics, and clear documentation on testing progress Qualifications Required: - Core Banking domain expertise (mandatory) - Strong understanding of functional testing techniques - Proficiency in writing detailed test cases and test scenarios - Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) - Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC - Good communication, analytical, and documentation skills - Ability to work both independently and within a team,
