Software Tester (Automation and Manual)

Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester with experience in both automation and manual testing to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating and executing test cases, as well as a passion for ensuring software quality.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Executing manual testing to identify software defects and ensure application quality.
• Collaborating with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Maintaining and updating existing automated tests as the application evolves.
• Participating in requirement reviews and sprint planning meetings to provide testing estimates and insights.
• Reporting and tracking defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Creating and maintaining documentation related to testing procedures and test cases.

Skills and Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in software testing (both automation and manual).
• Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, or similar).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python for automation scripting.
• Knowledge of SQL for database testing and validation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
