Software Test Engineer

As a Software Test Engineer/ETL Test Automation Engineer at Dataceria Software Solutions, you will have an exciting opportunity to work in the Data Services team. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and maintaining test and data validation frameworks, ensuring the stability of data pipelines and metadata management, and providing technical support to Product, Data, and Design teams. Your role will require excellent communication skills to effectively interface with both business partners and technical staff. Additionally, you must be able to prioritize tasks, work within timelines, and demonstrate strong client management, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work in parallel with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Business Analyst (BA) staff to create thorough, accurate, and comprehensive SQL test queries and scripts - Update and maintain SQL scripts and test cases according to application and business rule changes - Establish standards and processes to ensure data quality and consistency in the platform - Analyze, organize, and validate raw data to ensure accuracy and reliability - Collaborate with data analytics experts and SMEs to enhance functionality and efficiency within the data ecosystem **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or associate degree in computer science or related subject - 5 to 8 years of experience in Data Engineering and Testing roles - Proficiency in SQL Testing with a strong emphasis on Snowflake - Experience in DB & API Test Automation - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Snowflake - Basic to Intermediate level proficiency in Java/Python programming for test automation - Experience with Test automation tools like UFT/Selenium and Jenkins or other CICD platforms - Understanding of Data Driven Keyword or hybrid test automation frameworks - Working knowledge of cloud computing architecture, including Azure/AWS - Hands-on experience with GIT and Power BI reporting - Familiarity with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Airflow - Experience working with Agile methodologies - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills - Teamwork and collaboration skills Dataceria Software Solution Pvt Ltd is seeking immediate joiners with 15-30 days of notice period for the position of ETL Tester with Automation in Pune or Bangalore.
