SUMMARY

Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Responsibilities

Analyzing software requirements and creating detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Translating business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
Executing manual and/or automated tests to ensure the product meets quality standards.
Logging and tracking defects using tools like Jira.
Reporting bugs and errors to development teams.
Performing regression testing and retesting of resolved issues.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and working with user stories and product backlogs.
Preparing test summary reports and ensuring documentation is maintained.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
Experience in manual testing and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG) is a plus.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
