Software Test Automation Engineer (JavaScript BDD)

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will work in a product development team focused on creating highly configurable software in an agile environment. Your role will involve designing and implementing strategies and tools for efficient automated testing, collaborating with development engineers to ensure the quality of product offerings throughout the development lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and automate functional tests for the product. - Contribute to test case identification and necessary testing documentation. - Assess current automation coverage and recommend methods to enhance it. - Update automated tests in response to application changes. - Extend and enhance existing automation frameworks for new services and write end-to-end automation for various user scenarios. - Perform manual and exploratory testing, executing tests according to a defined schedule and reporting results. - Translate manual test cases into automation tests by evaluating the existing manual regression suite. - Document any anomalies or bugs encountered during testing. - Develop and maintain test tools infrastructure and development environments. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent. - 3+ years of automation test experience using JavaScript and test frameworks like Quest, Jest, TestCafe. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design, and debugging skills. - Experience in manual testing. - Proficiency in API automation testing, framework building, and writing integration and UI tests. - Knowledge of Test Plan and Test Strategy. - Ability to create scripts using reusable methods and troubleshoot issues. - Familiarity with SQL programming and database technologies. - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks and skill development. - Experience with Azure DevOps and Selenium Webdriver (Nice to have). - Familiarity with Continuous Integration concepts and Agile Software Development (Nice to have). In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing improvement of automated testing processes, collaborate with the development team to ensure product quality, and play a key role in maintaining testing documentation and infrastructure. Additionally, you may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.,
