Software Test Analyst - Senior

As a Software Test Analyst Senior at Gentrack, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the company's mission of providing innovative cleantech solutions to utilities worldwide and drive positive impact through technology. Your role will involve attending daily stand-ups, writing and executing test scripts, reporting defects, supporting initiatives focused on environmental and social responsibility, and identifying areas for improvement in the testing life cycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support BAU activities, and invest in personal training and development for continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: - Attend daily stand-ups, review Change Requests/User Stories/Acceptance Criteria, and report defects following internal JIRA guidelines - Support initiatives promoting environmental and social responsibility, and contribute ideas in line with the Sustainability Charter - Create and execute detailed test cases for BAU activities and project work - Communicate effectively with Test Senior, development, and management teams - Identify areas for improvement in the testing life cycle and share with Test Senior/Lead - Document processes or procedures that may benefit other testers - Participate in planning, stand-ups, estimation, retrospectives, and backlog grooming - Invest in personal training and development to enhance performance over time Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or comparable professional development and commercial experience - ISTQB Foundation Certification Experience: - 4-6 years Technical Skills: - Strong experience and knowledge of software testing lifecycle with Agile, Waterfall, and mixed methodologies - Working knowledge of testing management tools such as Zephyr Scale and JIRA - Familiarity with SQL Server, Client/Server applications, CRM, Billing, and Utilities industry - Experience working with SQL statements and REST API using Postman - Automation experience is a plus At Gentrack, we offer: - Personal growth in leadership, commercial acumen, and technical excellence - Opportunity to be part of a global, winning high-growth organization with a clear career path - Vibrant culture with passionate individuals focused on transformation and making a difference - Competitive reward package for top talent - Chance to make a true impact on society and the planet Gentrack is committed to working with the best individuals, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
