What youll achieve

As a Software Senior Principal Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing scalable software solutions for the enterprise client line of business (eg. Laptops, Workstations, Desktops etc.). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. Will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software basis the customers business goals, needs and general business environment.

You will:

• Be responsible for design, definition and implementation of advanced Windows features on Dell systems
• Work on Windows feature enablement and Windows deployment within the group
• Contribute to the design and architecture of high-quality, complex systems and software/storage environments
• Prepare, review and evaluate software/storage specifications for products and systems
• Contribute to the development and implementation of test strategies for complex software products and systems/for storage products and systems

Essential Requirements

• 12-25 years of relevant development experience in C programming with a masters or bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven industry experience on Windows/Driver or related system technologies
• In-depth understanding of Windows feature requirements and the corresponding hardware/software/driver dependency
• Ability to lead and provide engineering inputs during all phases of development cycle, including design, implementation, integration, test and delivery
• Experienced in root cause analysis to solve complex issues

Desirable Requirements

• Windows Infrastructure Management experience is a plus
