You will be tasked with working along side project PMs, Business SME s and development teams to fanatically ensure the highest quality test automation for our business and partners while reducing manual test efforts. Description The AppleCare Technologies Quality Engineering team has an immediate opening for a Software Quality Automation Engineer. You will be tasked with working along side project PMs, Business SME s and development teams to fanatically ensure the highest quality of customer facing application, manual validation of these applications, building test automation for our business and partners while find new and more effective ways for continuous improvement.In this role, you will get involved in quality engineering for critical customer facing applications, in a fast-paced, flexible environment and be directly responsible for: - Understanding new and existing feature implementations in order to craft informed, robust testing charters; - Recommend and build suitable framework and tools for application(s) test requirement; - Authoring test scenarios, scripts, and plans; - Driving functional, User Journey, and stability testing; - Write and review automation frameworks, test scripts, user Journeys; - Identifying and reporting defects, inclusive of first-level root cause analysis and consistent steps to reproduce. - Leveraging emerging technologies to transform quality engineering scope of activitiesIDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD BE - Quality driven self-motivated individual who is flexible working in a globally distributed team, matrix ed, fast-paced environment, can multi-task and has experience with agile method of working. - Have ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements across multiple regions and ensure full coverage of test scenario automation. - Evaluate, select and formulate the best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different applications and business processes. - Lead automation script development and the optimization of those scripts where necessary. - High level of proficiency with demonstrated experience of implementing scripting solutions for repetitive tasks - Evaluates and recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies including using AI tools needed to enhance productivity and quality. - Analytical capability to synthesize large amounts of data into a clear story and assess business process improvement. 5+ years of experience in automation and manual testing of very large with billion plus end user applications Expertise in QE processes, tools and metrics Good knowledge of automation framework architecture, design and development; Experience in Maven/Gradle and Git repositories is required; Experience in testing API/Web Service, Web and iOS native applications Experience crafting, developing implementing test automation frameworks/tools such as Worksoft, Tosca, UFT, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, Cypress, Playwright, PyTest, XCUI test etc. Experience developing in Python or Java familiar with databases, SQL and scripting languages. Excellent knowledge of QA automation methodologies, processes, and tools. Experience in leveraging AI/ML for STLC as well as testing of AI/ML applications; Experience handling multiple automation journeys across companies and testing phases from Integration Testing or/and end to end User Acceptance Testing. Experience designing, developing implementation of test automation frameworks for large integrated systems cutting across multiple tech stacks. Proven foundation in computer science, or equivalent with proficiencies in data structures, AI/ML, refactoring and test automation. Preferred Qualifications Strong level of customer focus and attention to details. Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence multi-functional teams and quickly establish trust and credibility. Ability to demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Ability to think implement test automation from a user s perspective and at scale. Tool tech agnostic and should be able to write code in different languages Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS/GCP and containerization technologies such as Docker is good to have; Preferred certifications in testing, programming languages, test automation tools and frameworks
