Software QA Tester

Position: Automation / Manual Tester

Required Candidate profile:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Automation Tester to join
our quality assurance team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundationalunderstanding of software testing, who is eager to build a career in automationtesting. As an Automation Tester, you will contribute to ensuring the qualityand reliability of our software products by designing, implementing, andexecuting automated test cases.

Key Responsibilities:

*Design, develop, and maintain
automated test scripts for various applications.

*Execute automated test suites,
analyze results, and report defects.

*Collaborate with developers and
manual testers to understand application functionality and requirements.

*Assist in setting up and
configuring test environments for automation testing.

*Contribute to the creation and
maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test data.

*Identify, document, and track
defects in the defect tracking system.

*Participate in sprint planning,
retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Stay updated with the latest
trends and tools in automation testing.

*Support the implementation of
continuous integration and continuous testing practices.

*Provide clear and concise
documentation of testing processes and results.

Qualifications:

*Bachelor s degree in Computer
Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

0-1 year of experience in
software testing (manual or automation).

Basic knowledge of automation
testing tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.

Understanding of software
development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).

Familiarity with programming or
scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written
communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively
in a team environment.

Basic knowledge of version
control systems like Git is a plus.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

Familiarity with Agile or Scrum
methodologies.

Exposure to continuous
integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).

Experience with API testing tools
such as Postman or REST Assured.
