Software QA Engineer Python Automation (Networking Focus)

As an experienced Software QA Engineer proficient in Python automation with a specialization in networking protocols, you will be involved in significant projects within the network infrastructure domain, focusing on end-to-end automation, integration, and validation of intricate networking systems. - Design and execute robust automation test plans covering functional, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing. - Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and architects to ensure feature functionality and quality validation. - Contribute to automation strategy, code quality, and continuous improvement of testing procedures. - Participate in test case and code reviews, offering guidance on best testing practices to team members. The mandatory skills required for this role include: - 4-7 years of experience in QA automation using Python and Selenium. - Strong practical understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN. - Familiarity with Playwright or Robot Frameworks for test automation. Desirable skills for the position: - Prior experience in testing routing platforms, network switches, or network operating systems. - Knowledge of REST APIs, pyATS, and telemetry tools. - Exposure to microservices architectures, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. - Networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or experience in SNMP, YANG, gRPC/gNMI.
