Software QA Engineer, Automation

As an expert in your assigned platform component, product or feature area, your responsibilities will include: - Installing, testing, and verifying multiple components to ensure the product conforms to requirements and is ready for release. - Developing and maintaining test plans and test cases for features under test. - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting the integrated solution under test. - Automating test cases with an established automated framework. - Executing tests, providing quality test status reports, and meeting schedule commitments. - Developing reusable tools for test automation and exploring new methods for automation. - Integrating AI tools to enhance quality and efficiency. - Reviewing and analyzing project documentation to ensure product testability. - Developing test cases for functionality, performance, stress, and fault conditions. - Identifying the level of test coverage required and evaluating customer feedback to identify weak areas. - Working independently on tasks and collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals. - Collaborating with Architects, Tech Leads, and Software Engineers to understand testing requirements. - Working with a Global Engineering team encompassing multiple time zones as required. - Participating in all stages of releases to deliver a quality product. - Monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards. Your qualifications for this role include: - A degree in Computer Science or equivalent. - 4-6 years of work experience in software testing and test automation of multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications. - Good experience in testing web applications user interface and RESTful web services at both functional and non-functional levels. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience automating test cases using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Cucumber. - Demonstrated experience with exploratory testing, in addition to working with test plans. - Good understanding of Microservices Architecture, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Elastic search, and Kafka. - Knowledge of computer networks and networking concepts. - Working knowledge of SQL Databases, such as Oracle. - Understanding of API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger. - Exposure to the Linux platform. - Agile development experience.,
