Software Project Manager

Role Overview: At GKN Automotive, you will be the Software Project Manager responsible for leading the delivery of innovative embedded software solutions for next-generation electric drivetrains. Your main mission will involve driving high-performance, AUTOSAR-based software projects with a focus on Functional Safety, Cyber Security, and Base Software. You will work closely with global teams and stakeholders across India, Germany, and the USA to ensure the timely delivery of software that will shape the mobility of the future. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage complex software projects for ePowertrain systems from concept to delivery - Plan project goals and strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams - Drive software releases and oversee change requests, bug-fixes, and debugging cycles - Ensure delivery meets quality, timing, and budget targets - Manage international project teams and engage with external suppliers - Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and internal software development processes - Report project status and key milestones to senior stakeholders and customer interfaces Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical, Electronics, Information Technology, or Mechatronics - 7+ years of total industry experience with a minimum of 4 years in automotive software project management - Strong understanding of AUTOSAR, Functional Safety (ISO 26262), and Cyber Security (ISO/SAE 21434) - Experience in leading international teams and working in Agile environments - Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills *Please note that the additional details of the company were not included in the provided job description.,
