Software Programmer (LAMP)

As one of the fastest-growing IT companies in the region, Ably Soft excels in delivering innovative eCommerce solutions while fostering an employee-driven work environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Maintain software quality standards by establishing good coding practices. - Practice self-organization in your work approach. - Commit to deliverables within your capabilities. - Collaborate with technical mentors for Database design and planning. - Analyze and resolve software errors promptly, keeping project leads updated. - Follow guidelines provided by mentors. - Provide time/cost estimates to the Pre-sales/BA team during the Project Planning PP Pre Sales Stage. - Recommend improvements to existing software programs. - Responsible for reporting and updates to project mentors. - Develop software programs through all stages, ensuring performance enhancement. - Stay updated on best practices related to job responsibilities. - Acquire new skills aligning with the company's future plans and upcoming project requirements. - Ensure timely and descriptive time logging by Associate: Software Programmers. **Qualifications:** - Background in software development, academically and/or professionally. - Proficiency in PHP with expertise in Core PHP, MVC frameworks, Cake PHP, Codeigniter. - Strong experience with MySQL database, Database Management, and SQL Queries. - Solid technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies. - Proficiency in web development open-source technologies: CSS, XHTML, PHP5, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery. - Understanding of open-source projects like WordPress, Magento, etc., will be a plus. - Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and web services development. - Passion for coding practices and a drive to innovate. - Self-starter with the ability to streamline functions and a thirst for learning and growth. - Excellent communication and presentation skills for interaction with senior-level management. - B.Tech, BCA, B.Sc (IT), M.Tech, MCA, or M.Sc (IT). - Proficiency in a foreign language will be an added advantage.
