Software Engr II

As a Software Engr II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure the efficient, timely completion of software projects. • Bachelor s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics


• 2+ years of experience in software development


• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field


• Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies


• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies


• Passion for innovation and continuous learning


• Excellent problem-solving capability

Skills Required:

• Must have at least 3-6 years of hands-on experience with programming in C++, C# and other . NET technologies.
• Must have a working knowledge of WPF, Web Api , Entity framework, and Dependency injection.
• Must have experience in creating web applications using MVC 5. 0.
• Must have the ability to work with databases, to create/work with complex SQL queries.
• Must have a working knowledge of source control and versioning, preferably GITHUB
• Must be able to work independently with little direction/supervision.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and relational skills required.
• Must have a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Must be a strong team player.

Responsibilities :.

• Design, build, and maintain C# code
• Implementation of unit test cases
• Work closely with other engineers to develop
• Work on extensions of existing products
• End to end upgrade of OSS libraries and ensure no existing functionality is broken
• Plan, design, develop, manage, document, test, deploy, and support new and existing modules
• Thorough analysis of api changes of the oss libraries needs to be done.
