Ideagen is seeking a Software Engineering Manager, responsible for supervising and managing a SaaS software engineering team to ensure smooth team operation and effective collaboration by creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

Responsibilities

• Leading and mentoring your team through the full software development lifecycle
• Collaborating with Product, UX, Infrastructure, and Engineering leadership to deliver roadmap milestones
• Driving Agile practices and continuous improvement across ceremonies and workflows
• Overseeing defect resolution, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines
• Reporting progress and proactively managing delivery risks
• Shaping technical decisions and contributing to engineering best practices
  

Skills And Experience

• 10+ years in software development, including 5+ years with C#
• Strong experience with C#, .NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS; React is a plus
• Cloud-native development on Azure: app services, containers, microservices, APIs
• DevOps experience with Azure DevOps, Octopus, Docker, Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with cyber security principles and OWASP Top 10
• Relational database experience, preferably Azure SQL
• 3+ years in Agile methodologies (Scrum, etc.)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  

Desirable Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900 or higher)
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CEH)
