Role Overview: You will play a crucial role in defining, driving, and executing the performance and scalability strategy for Teamcenter at Siemens Digital Industries Software. Leading a team of performance and scalability engineers, you will ensure that the software exceeds the performance expectations of global customers, impacting user experience and system stability. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of performance and scalability engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. - Define and drive the performance and scalability strategy for Teamcenter, setting objectives, key results (OKRs), and a clear roadmap for improvements. - Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of performance, load, and scalability tests for Teamcenter components and integrated solutions. - Proactively identify performance bottlenecks across the Teamcenter stack and collaborate with development teams to implement effective solutions. - Provide expert guidance on architectural decisions, design patterns, and best practices to ensure performance and scalability from the ground up. - Drive the selection, implementation, and enhancement of performance testing tools, monitoring systems, and automation frameworks. - Collaborate with various teams to understand requirements, prioritize issues, and communicate performance insights. - Engage with key customers and field teams to understand performance challenges and provide expert advice and solutions. - Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing regular updates on the performance posture of Teamcenter. - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in performance engineering and scalability.
