Software Engineering-Analyst

Role Overview: As a member of the Corporate Treasury Engineering team at Goldman Sachs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the firm's businesses have the necessary funding while optimizing liquidity and managing risk. Key Responsibilities: - Use engineering techniques to identify and measure risk, implementing quantitative and technical risk management solutions in software. - Build strong relationships with key business partners, develop and enhance treasury systems and processes, and understand financial markets and liquidity management strategies. - Apply analytics to drive commercial outcomes, communicate effectively, and understand business needs to support implementation. - Develop scalable architecture, implement software following the full SDLC cycle, and explore the latest technology offerings to build optimal solutions. - Collaborate closely with the business to create real-time impact and deliver products with the highest commercial value. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline. - Experience in software development with a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design, and core programming concepts. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn technologies and apply them effectively. - Ability to multitask, manage multiple stakeholders, and work collaboratively as part of a team. - Excellent communication skills, including experience speaking to technical and business audiences and working globally. - Entrepreneurial approach and passion for problem-solving and product development. - Minimum 3 years of relevant, continuous experience. Additional Details: - Preferred qualifications include strong programming experience in at least one compiled language such as Java or Python. - Experience in designing highly scalable and efficient systems is desirable. - Web technology design experience is a plus. - Familiarity with financial markets, financial assets, and liquidity management is advantageous.,
