As a Full Stack Engineer at Zuddl, you will play a crucial role in working on a highly interactive React app with features like video, live streaming, and real-time engagement. You will be responsible for handling the backend to support thousands of concurrent users during large-scale events. Your focus will be on optimizing app performance, ensuring low-latency, and building for efficient bundle size. Following best practices to develop high-quality apps with unit testing will be a key aspect of your role. You will work with a modern stack including React, Redux, Java 11, Postgres, and Redis, collaborating closely with engineers and designers in a fast-paced and high-growth environment. Your passion for clean and appropriately tested code will drive your contributions to the platform. Key Responsibilities: - Work on a highly interactive React app with video, live streaming, and real-time engagement - Handle backend development to support thousands of concurrent users on large-scale events - Optimize app performance and build for low-latency and efficient bundle size - Follow best practices to develop high-quality apps with unit testing - Collaborate with engineers and designers in a fast-paced and high-growth environment Qualifications Required: - 3-4 years of experience as a Full Stack engineer - Good experience in at least one of React and Java is mandatory - Key expertise in React/Angular or similar frontend frameworks - Expertise in backend development - Java/Python/.NET etc - Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and Javascript - Strong working knowledge of Relational databases like Postgres, MySQL - Strong in both high-level and low-level system design - Strong understanding of different software development practices and infrastructure Nice to Have: - Experience with WebRTC, Live Streaming, or other related video technologies - Previous experience at high-growth Indian startups and/or with startup founders is highly preferred In addition to the technical aspects of the role, Zuddl offers a competitive compensation package, Employee Friendly ESOPs, Remote Working opportunities, a Flexible Leave Program, Home Workstation Setup, and a culture built on trust, transparency, and integrity.
