To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical skills in backend development using Python, along with proven AWS implementation experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and best practices. Proficiency in the software development lifecycle, including Git, Agile methodology, and test-driven development, is essential. Demonstrable experience with Docker/Kubernetes containerization and CI/CD pipelines, strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment are key requirements. Additionally, highly valued skills include being a hands-on, curious Engineer with good collaborative abilities, holding a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent experience. Experience in developing or integrating AI/ML applications, familiarity with microservices architecture, and the ability to deliver high-quality software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools are beneficial. You should ensure that the code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance, write clean and efficient code following best practices and coding standards, troubleshoot front-end issues and bugs in a timely manner, and collaborate closely with backend developers to integrate APIs for seamless data flow. In this role based in the Pune office, your primary purpose will be to design, develop, and enhance software using various engineering methodologies to provide business, platform, and technology capabilities for customers and colleagues. Your accountabilities will include the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions, cross-functional collaboration with product managers and engineers, participation in code reviews, adherence to secure coding practices, and implementation of effective unit testing practices. As a Vice President, you will be expected to contribute to setting strategy, driving requirements, making recommendations for change, planning resources and budgets, managing policies and processes, delivering continuous improvements, and escalating breaches of policies/procedures. You may also have leadership responsibilities, guiding technical direction, leading collaborative assignments, training and coaching specialists, advising key stakeholders, managing risks, and demonstrating comprehensive understanding of organizational functions.
