Software Engineer- Shopify Developer

As a Shopify Developer, you should have a total experience of 7-10 years with a minimum of 5+ years focused on the eCommerce domain, specifically working with Shopify. Your role will involve showcasing leadership skills by ideating, providing solutions, and defining roadmaps for clients looking to migrate to Shopify from other eCommerce solutions, particularly from SFCC to Shopify. You will be responsible for full-stack web application development using languages such as Javascript, TypeScript, and React. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, along with a strong understanding of the DOM is essential. Previous experience with custom themes, the Storefront API, Shopify's theming system, and Liquid templating is highly recommended. Experience in implementing and debugging third-party Shopify apps is a plus, as well as building unique solutions or custom apps within Shopify. A solid grasp of vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and various JavaScript frameworks is required. Additionally, familiarity with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, Meta fields, and one of the cloud provider services like AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred. You should have a good understanding of object-oriented design principles and be able to translate that understanding into your code. Familiarity with backend frameworks like Rails, Django, Spring, or similar, and JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, or similar is an advantage. An understanding of agile, lean, DevOps principles, testing, CI/CD, and observability is important. A passion for writing clean, elegant code, experience in streaming media or wellness verticals, and exposure to various aspects of the tech stack such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, Elasticsearch, AWS, Docker, Stripe APIs, among others, will be beneficial for this role.,
