Software Engineer - Retail

As an Application Developer for NetSuite at MillerKnoll, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with Digital, IT, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop functionality and enhancements in the NetSuite environment. Your responsibilities will include: - NetSuite Administration: user setup, light configuration. - Developing integrations and interfaces with other retail applications. - Maintaining documentation for NetSuite customizations and troubleshooting steps. - Participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. - Partnering with Business Analysts to review bugs/issues and design solutions. - Remaining current with the latest technologies and best practices. Qualifications required for this role: - A graduate / post-graduate in computer science/engineering or equivalent industry experience. - 5-7 years of experience in a dynamic retail environment with 3-5 years of NetSuite development/customization experience. - Experience with NetSuite scripting, HTML, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SOAP, ReST/oData, SQL. - Strong analysis skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Knowledge of Product Lifecycle, different selling channels, and financial practices. - Experience working on an Agile development team using SCRUM. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Self-driven, result-oriented, and strong organizational skills. This role will also involve working in shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M., with the possibility of working in a different shift on rare occasions to support critical business issues or scheduled releases/migrations. Locally, you will report to the Team Lead and IT Manager in India, with matrix reporting to WTL in the US.
