As a Software Engineer - Python at Data Axle Inc., you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining the back end for solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to build performant customer facing web solutions using Python/Django. Additionally, you will create, build, and release new capabilities for user interaction by utilizing modern APIs and frameworks. It is essential to deliver accessible and responsive code of high quality through automated build/test/deploy processes. Working as an integral part of an agile team, you will contribute towards delivering a great user experience. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience with a variety of software applications and technologies. A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering is required, while a Master's Degree is preferred. Good knowledge of design methodology, standard software design patterns, and experience working in Agile teams is necessary. Strong technical written and verbal communication skills in English, along with the ability to develop systems and web services for data storage and access, are also essential.
