Software Engineer

As a Mid-Level Developer with 5-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of scalable software solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Having 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in software development. - Contributing to the design and development of scalable software solutions. - Writing clean, functional code across both the front-end and back-end. - Performing thorough testing, promptly addressing bugs, and resolving coding issues. - Working with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and design solutions that meet those needs. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, using Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to drive projects forward. - Creating and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, and departmental procedures. In terms of technical skills, you should have expertise in Java and Java Enterprise Edition for developing scalable web applications. Additionally, you should be skilled in the Spring Framework, including dependency injection and aspect-oriented programming. Experience in designing and deploying microservices-based architectures is also required. Proficiency in Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) and cloud computing principles is preferred. You should also have the ability to design, implement, and maintain SOAP and RESTful APIs and experience with Oracle databases, including query writing, stored procedures, and performance optimization. Furthermore, familiarity with Angular for building dynamic web applications, React JS, Apache Kafka for distributed messaging systems, and MongoDB, a NoSQL database, is a plus. Experience with BDD methodologies to ensure software aligns with business requirements is also beneficial.,
