Software Engineer

Functional superior:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer to join our Life Sciences Technology Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing software solutions for our life sciences clients, as well as collaborating with project teams to ensure that solutions meet business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities and functions:

• Design and develop software solutions for our life sciences clients
• Collaborate with project teams to identify technical requirements and ensure that solutions meet business needs
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using programming languages such as C# .Net, .Net core, WEB API and asp.net MVC
• Conduct code reviews and ensure that code is well-documented
• Collaborate with other developers to ensure that solutions are scalable and maintainable
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and test plans
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the life sciences industry

Experience

• Masters degree in computer science or related field
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in software engineering
• Strong understanding of software development principles and practices
• Proficiency in programming languages such as .Net, .Net core, WEB API and asp.net MVC
• Experience with front end technologies such as HTML 5, CSS 3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Jquery & Jquery Plugins implementation / customization, JSON / XML, Typescript, Angular / React (Latest)
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL server
• Experience with version control systems such as SVN
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
