Software Engineer - Java Developer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed program specifications including design of online screens and reports by collaborating with project management and end users.
• Convert project specifications into sequential, detailed instructions and logical steps for coding by creating flowcharts and pseudocode.
• Consider all aspects of the project such as hardware design, limitations, operating time, and format of desired results.
• Eliminate errors before moving projects to Quality Assurance by testing and debugging programs.
• Maintain and enhance existing application programs by improving understanding of user needs.
• Formulate project plans by outlining steps required for development and submitting for approval.
• Understand current operating procedures by consulting with users and reviewing project objectives.
• Complete project assignments in a timely manner by following directions from Project Leader/Manager.

Skills Required:

• Strong expertise in Core Java and Advanced Java.
• Experience with Fullstack Java development.
• Proficiency in Struts framework and Swing (preferred).
• Hands-on experience in coding, debugging, and application performance optimization.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
