Job Description

Role Description

Guiding the Cloud Engineers for their day-to-day engineering tasks
Responsible for customer discussions w.r.t various Cloud operational transformational activities
Responsible for building and deploying automation using CI tools, Scripting tools such as Shell/Perl/Python.
Automate build and deployment processes in a hybrid (AWS + proprietary) hosting environment
Work with Engineering and Business Operations teams to understand monitoring requirements
Document monitoring processes implemented across the system

Participate in capacity planning exercises for future needs and projects

Technical Skills

Experience as DevOPS engineer in a scalable production environment
Proficient working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, EBS, ELB, S3, and Cloudfront in a highly available and scalable production environment
Knowledge of AWS and Cloud Computing concepts (preferred experience with AWS Elastic Beanstalk, AWSCloudFormation or AWS OpsWorks)
Expertise in build management and software configuration management.
Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills, as well as innovation and creativity.

Nice-to-have skills
