Software Engineer III-Oracle HCM Time & Absence

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing documented user stories with acceptance criteria, working closely with business partners, cross-functional teams, 3rd party vendors, and other stakeholders in all project phases. Your role will involve collaborating with business partners on user testing, ensuring test data setup readiness, and managing test execution effectively. In this role, you will actively participate in all agile ceremonies with a key focus on user story validation, solution design, story point assignment, and knowledge of spike stories. System testing will be a crucial aspect of your responsibilities, encompassing identifying and creating test data, environment validation, test execution, results validation, defect reporting, and collaborating with development teams for defect solutions and fixes. Additionally, you will support automation initiatives where appropriate. To excel in this position, you are required to have formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 3 years of applied experience. Strong knowledge and experience of working in an agile environment are essential. You should possess extensive expertise in software development and design or large-scale, complex global operations. Data analysis skills, the ability to extract, analyze, and transform data, along with functional expertise in tying user stories to system functionality are highly valued. Moreover, experience in test script creation, execution, and automation is necessary. Proficiency in Project Management, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and software engineering processes and tools is expected. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are imperative for effective collaboration within the team. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or equivalent field. Experience in understanding and troubleshooting Fast Formula and HCM extracts, as well as Page Personalization and Oracle Redwood Certification, are advantageous for this role.,
