You have an exciting opportunity to advance your software engineering career to the next level as a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking Technology team. You will work as a seasoned member of an agile team, responsible for designing and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role will involve implementing critical technology solutions across multiple technical domains to support various business functions and achieve the firm's business objectives. - Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively to build solutions or address technical challenges beyond routine approaches. - Creates secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. - Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development. - Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems continually. - Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture. - Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new and emerging technologies. - Fosters a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect. Qualifications and Skills: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience. - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. - Proficiency in coding in one or more languages. - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages. - Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with modern front-end technologies. - Exposure to cloud technologies.
