Software Engineer II

Role Overview: Stats Perform, the market leader in sports tech, provides trusted sports data to global organizations in sports, media, and broadcasting. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications for data extraction, transformation, and automation. - Build and optimize web scraping pipelines using Scrapy and Beautiful Soup. - Integrate AI/ML models into applications for enhanced automation and data insights. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Argo CD, Git). - Manage data persistence and optimize queries in Oracle databases. - Develop and deploy serverless applications on AWS (Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, S3, etc.). - Ensure high reliability, scalability, and monitoring of applications. - Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and deployment. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Qualification Required: - 5-8 years of experience in Python development. - Strong expertise in web scraping tools like Scrapy and Beautiful Soup. - Hands-on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development. - Proficiency in Oracle DB, MySQL, Postgres for SQL queries and performance tuning. - Solid experience with AWS services like Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM (additional services like S3/ECS/EKS are a plus). - Understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) for container deployment and orchestration. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices in software development. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
