Software Engineer II, SRE

As a Site Reliability Engineer at RedPin, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the high availability, performance, and reliability of our software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring system health, building and managing platform infrastructure, and continuously improving our suite of software products. You will be expected to analyze system performance metrics, optimize capabilities, and proactively innovate to meet customer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS. Your expertise in system architecture, scripting, automation, cloud platforms, networking, and various technologies will be essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will provide operational support for multiple distributed applications, optimize service reliability, and participate in capacity planning and system design consulting. To excel in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, along with 4-10 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and Bash, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, and knowledge of API gateway solutions and messaging systems are required. You should also be familiar with containerization, CI/CD processes, monitoring tools, and have strong problem-solving skills.
