As a Software Engineer II at Brightly, you will work in a fast-paced environment alongside top-notch engineers and product teams to design, implement, deliver, and support highly ambitious products and integrations. Key Responsibilities: - Build innovative and performant features into next-generation software applications. - Apply deep knowledge of computer science and programming principles to develop innovative solutions. - Develop, implement, and document libraries and frameworks to scale development effectively across multiple projects. - Write clear and maintainable full-stack code, adhere to existing standards, and work in a professional software engineering environment. - Align with company goals and metrics, partner with product owners and UX, and participate in user requirements translation. - Support products, identify and fix root causes of production incidents, and contribute to troubleshooting and resolution of support issues. - Own product quality, embed a DevOps mentality within the team, and demonstrate data-driven analysis aligned with business and technology needs. - Stay current with the latest technology trends, collaborate in the product lifecycle within an agile environment, and be part of continuous improvement processes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. - 3-5 years of work experience. - Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, databases, SQL, web programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. - 3+ years of experience with JavaScript frameworks, REST services, SOA, micro-services, unit testing, mocking frameworks, and test automation frameworks. - DevOps mindset and experience in a mature CI/CD SDLC environment. - 3+ years of experience working in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). - Strong communication, partnership, and teamwork skills.
