Software Engineer II (Android)

We are hiring a seasoned software engineer to enhance our Android phone app. The role involves hands-on coding, mentoring software engineers, collaborating with product and business teams, driving code reviews, and setting best practices for performance and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Android mobile application development.
• Expert Java programmer with an in-depth understanding of advanced language features. Knowledge of Kotlin is required.
• Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and UI design. Proficiency with software design principles.
• Capable of independently designing, implementing and delivering features with high quality.
• Comfortable with creating tests for and debugging Android applications.
• Able to create good project plans, give realistic deadlines and meet them, communicate regularly (in English) and set clear expectations.
