Software Engineer (Dot Net)

Otelier is building the next-generation hospitality platform that unifies financial, operational, and analytical workflows across hotels, management companies, and ownership groups.

Our ecosystem powers budgeting & forecasting (TruePlan/TPX), accounting & reconciliations (HelloGM/REC), and data integrations connecting multiple PMS, POS, and financial systems like Opera, M3, Sage, NetSuite, and Snowflake.

We are expanding our Integrations Engineering team in India to scale data pipelines, build robust interfaces across hotel systems, and modernize our legacy integration framework.

As a software engineer in the Integrations team, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance data integration services that connect hotel systems to the Otelier platform.

You will primarily work with C#/.NET and SQL Server, while gaining exposure to Java and MongoDB as part of our modernization and scaling initiatives.

You ll collaborate closely with product managers, integration analysts, and our US-based platform teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable data flows across our customers environments.

Key Responsibilities

Develop/Fix integration services and APIs in C#/.NET, connecting PMS, POS, Accounting, and CRM systems to Otelier s platform.

Maintain and enhance existing SQL Server-based ETL and transformation logic.

Build and optimize data pipelines that load and sync data to Snowflake and downstream analytics systems.

Participate in the migration of legacy .NET integrations to the latest .NET and Java and MongoDB-based microservices.

Collaborate with US and India teams to debug production issues and deliver fixes with minimal downtime.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following Otelier s coding standards.

Contribute to technical design discussions and documentation for integrations and data contracts.

Support DevOps and CI/CD initiatives by improving automation, deployment scripts, and monitoring.

Engage in sprint planning, grooming, and daily standups to ensure timely delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2-7 years of professional experience in backend development or system integrations.

Strong proficiency in C#/.NET Core, Entity Framework, and RESTful API development.

Solid understanding of SQL Server - writing complex queries, stored procedures, qubes and optimizing performance.

Some hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, or ETL pipelines.

Familiarity with API integrations and file-based data exchange (JSON, XML, CSV, SFTP).

Comfortable working with Git/Bitbucket, Jira, and agile development workflows.

Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for production data and API issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have / Preferred Skills

Exposure to Java (Spring Boot) or willingness to learn as part of ongoing modernization.

Some familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

Experience with Snowflake, AWS S3, or data warehousing concepts.

Experience with hospitality systems (Opera, M3, Sage, Infor HMS, etc.) is a plus.

Knowledge of SnapLogic or similar integration tools.
