Software Engineer (Cloud DevOps Engineer - AWS, EKS, EMR, Docker, terraform, GIT)

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Amdocs, you will be responsible for the design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of software systems. Your key responsibilities will include production support activities such as monitoring, triaging, root cause analysis, and reporting production incidents. You will also investigate issues reported by clients, manage Reportdb servers, provide access management to new users on Reportdb, and work with the stability team to enhance Watchtower alerts. Additionally, you will be involved in working with cronjobs and scripts used to dump and restore from ProdDb, handling non-production deployments in Azure DevOps as per requests, and creating Kibana dashboards. Your technical skills should include experience in AWS DevOps, EKS, EMR, strong proficiency in Docker and Dockerhub, expertise in Terraform and Ansible, and good exposure to Git and Bitbucket. It would be advantageous if you have knowledge and experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and other cloud-related technologies. Cloud experience working with VMs and Azure storage, as well as sound data engineering experience, would be considered a plus. In terms of behavioral skills, you should possess good communication abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients, operational managers, and colleagues. Furthermore, you should be able to adapt, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
