As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Amdocs, your role will involve design, development, modification, debugging, and maintenance of software systems. You will be responsible for various tasks such as monitoring, triaging, root cause analysis, and reporting production incidents. Additionally, you will investigate issues reported by clients, manage Reportdb servers, and handle access management for new users on Reportdb. Collaborating with the stability team to enhance Watch tower alerts, working with cronjobs and scripts for dumping and restoring from ProdDb, and performing non-prod deployments in Azure DevOps will also be part of your responsibilities. Creating Kibana dashboards will be another key aspect of your job. To excel in this role, you must possess technical skills such as experience in AWS DevOps, EKS, EMR, strong knowledge of Docker and Dockerhub, proficiency in Terraform and Ansible, and good exposure to Git and Bitbucket. Knowledge and experience in Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud experience working with VMS and Azure storage will be beneficial. Sound data engineering experience is also preferred.
