Software Engineer (Cloud DevOps Engineer - AWS, EKS, EMR, Docker, Terraform, Git - 2-5 yrs - Pune)

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Amdocs, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, modifying, debugging, and maintaining software systems. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, triaging, conducting root cause analysis, and reporting production incidents. You will investigate issues reported by clients, manage reportdb servers, and handle access management for new users on Reportdb. Collaborating with the stability team, you will enhance Watchtower alerts and propose necessary changes. Additionally, you will work with cron jobs and scripts for dumping and restoring from ProdDb, manage non-prod deployments in Azure DevOps, and create Kibana dashboards. To excel in this role, you must possess technical skills such as experience in AWS DevOps, EKS, EMR, strong knowledge of Docker and Dockerhub, proficiency in Terraform and Ansible, and exposure to Git and Bitbucket. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud experience working with VMS and Azure storage is advantageous. Sound data engineering experience is also desirable. In addition to technical skills, you are expected to demonstrate strong communication with clients and operational managers, effective problem-solving abilities, the capacity to build relationships with stakeholders, the ability to adapt and prioritize tasks under pressure, meet deadlines, anticipate problems, and present innovative solutions. You should be willing to work in shifts or extended hours.
