Role Overview: Cisco Security Business Group (SBG) is dedicated to developing solutions that address the security challenges faced by customers. The group is currently experiencing 100% year-over-year growth and is seeking a passionate, innovative, and action-oriented engineering leader to drive the Product Engineering group and support business scalability. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in engineering, product management, and field teams to steer technology direction - Facilitate key technical decisions, drive end-to-end solutions, and support FedRAMP certification efforts - Partner with Product leads to shape product and technology strategies - Provide on-call support for production services - Offer technical support to clients or end-users Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 8 to 10+ years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems - Professional software development experience in C/C++, Python, and familiarity with Go (Nice to Have) - Experience with MacOS device drivers, building MacOS app extensions using Apple Driverkit framework, and installing drivers using System Extension Framework Additional Details: Cisco values diversity, encourages continuous learning and development, and fosters a culture of connection and collaboration.
