We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with 35 years of experience in Azure cloud services and modern software development. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in object-oriented and functional programming, experience with multiple programming languages, and a deep understanding of Azures compute, data, messaging, and security services. You will contribute to designing, developing, and modernizing cloud-native applications, leveraging DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Azure services (App Services, Functions, AKS, VMs, SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, etc.).
• Apply strong OOP and functional programming principles across multiple languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Implement RESTful APIs, database schemas (relational & non-relational), and leverage modern web frameworks.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Use Infrastructure as Code and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployment and automation.
• Apply best practices in application modernization, including migration strategies and microservices architecture.
• Monitor, profile, and optimize application performance and cloud costs.
• Ensure application security using Azure Key Vault, managed identities, and Azure AD.
• 38 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of OOP and functional programming.
• Experience with at least two programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Azure compute, data, messaging, and security services.
• Proficiency in RESTful API design and database principles.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and containerization.
• Familiarity with application modernization and migration patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
