Software Engineer, Actimize

As part of the AI and Analytics Team within Actimize at NiCE, you will be developing the next generation advanced analytical cloud platform to enhance the accuracy of the Financial Crime programs for our clients. Your role in the PaaS/SaaS development group will involve working with cutting-edge cloud technologies to build this platform for Actimize cloud-based solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-quality technical solutions that meet business requirements and adhere to corporate architectural standards. - Create thorough unit, integration, and automation tests following organizational guidelines. - Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining existing software applications, implementing improvements when necessary, and collaborating with external stakeholders. - Develop technical models/design for assigned components and contribute to technological and architectural decisions. - Collaborate with Scrum Team, internal and external stakeholders to influence decision-making and support organizational project or product teams. - Contribute to the enhancement and implementation of Agile practices within the organization. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in SaaS development. - Proficiency in Java programming and willingness to quickly learn new programming tools. - Strong data analytical skills with knowledge of statistical concepts. - Understanding of database concepts, data integration, SQL, and relational DB environments (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL). - Familiarity with bagging and boosting algorithms like random Forest, XGBOOST, etc. - Knowledge of component lifecycle hooks, Composition API, Single File Components (SFC), SCSS, Tailwind CSS, or other styling frameworks. - Experience in building and deploying machine learning models (classification, regression, clustering) at an enterprise level. - Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud computing services such as Sage maker, EC2, and Bedrock. - Good communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders. - Prior experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and MAVEN/Jenkins is a plus. - Experience in the full AI/ML life cycle, including model development, training, deployment, testing, and refinement. - Knowledge of building robust data pipelines is advantageous.
