Job Description

Responsibilities Software Development Lead involved in management of a development team leading regional technology projects – including projects for implementation and integration of different solutions as well as technology build initiatives. The role entails designing and driving the implementation of development best practices, while playing a crucial role in spearheading technical analysis, design, development and system integration testing. Point of Contact for all technical system integration and development queries, taking functional design requirements and translating them into functional and technical system specifications. Responsible for the development planning and delivery of system integration and technology development book of work. Work with project and test managers to ensure efficiency of system integration test cycles and propose improvements required if defects are found. Quality Assurance and testing Provide the appropriate architectural frameworks within which the region can operate and develop IT capability to ensure maximum return on investment and consistency with business strategic directions. Qualifications Minimum 10 years experience Managing software teams with a Degree in an IT related discipline with extensive Financial Services sector experience (Core banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Strong SDLC experience with extensive Banking, Transaction Banking, integration experience preferred). Must have development experience including past software development role as well as previous experience in the integration of vendor solutions Strong Communication and Stakeholder management skills Expert knowledge and experience in any or several of the following domains is preferred: Cash management, Trade finance & Lending, Core Banking, Transaction Processing, Business Process Management, Data management and Business Intelligence. An excellent understanding of development methodologies Programming experience in Python 3 Experience of working on projects with Angular JS 2 and above Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs Experience with GitLab for CI/CD and code management Experience with NoSQL databases such MongoDB preferred Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, NPM, TypeScript and related technologies Ability to ensure the technical feasibility of UX designs and comfortable converting UX into UI Experience in Test Driven Development desirable Full Stack skills required
