Software Development Engineer-Test II

In this vital role you will be working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks (UI, API, performance).
• Implement reusable test libraries and utilities to accelerate test development.

• Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to define test strategies, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• Author, review, and execute automated and manual test cases for new features and bug fixes.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Monitor build health, triage failures, and work with developers to resolve test stability issues.

• Track, document, and prioritize defects; work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Generate and present test reports, metrics, and dashboards to leadership.

• Design and run performance/load tests using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or similar.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate automated security scans and address vulnerabilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/Masters degree and 5 to 9 years of Computer Science, IT or related field experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Programming in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST Assured).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and related libraries.
• Familiar with testing AI models
• Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Working knowledge of version control systems (Git).

• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk)
• Experience with data processing tools like Hadoop, Spark, or similar
• Experience with SAP integration technologies
