The Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions EIM product development team is seeking a passionate and driven Software Development Engineer to be part of a world-class team building the next generation of private cellular solutions In this role, youll help shape the future of the cellular industry by developing advanced technologies that empower global technology leaders to bring their most ambitious applications to life At Ericsson, you'll be working with leading-edge cellular technologies and state-of-the-art cloud-native platforms and tools, contributing to solutions that redefine what's possible in wireless connectivity Youll collaborate with top-tier engineers in an environment that is customer-obsessed, mission-driven, and firmly rooted in innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence We offer a culture where continuous learning, experimentation, and personal growth are encouraged and celebrated If you're excited by challenging problems, inspired by meaningful work, and ready to grow your career in a fast-moving, future-focused organizationwed love to meet you Must-Have Technical Skills 5+ years of programming experience with Python, Golang, or Java Experience with virtualization (VMs, hypervisor, Software Defined Network) Strong experience with Containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab and Jenkins Experience with software development and testing in public Cloud environment (eg Azure, AWS, or GCP) Good understanding of REST APIs and common platform tools including Kafka, Prometheus, Redis, SQL, PostgresDB/MongoDB Strong knowledge of networking protocols, standards, and technologies including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSec, network Namespaces, routing and switching Experience working with Linux-based systems, understanding of key OS concepts such as process management, networking, and file systems Knowledge in cellular technology (4G/5G) Adaptability to dynamic and fast paced environments, proactive learner Pluses Linux system administration, shell (eg bash) scripting, and system performance troubleshooting skills Expertise in Linux OS kernel, services, and server configuration management utilities Experience in the telecommunications or cellular domain Ericsson RAN and core knowledge and experience DevOps and integration experience AI/ML data engineering experience
