Project Role : Software Development Engineer Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work. Must have skills : SAP Purchasing (MM PO) Good to have skills : NAMinimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : Application Development Summary :As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.- Design and develop software solutions based on the requirements.- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.- Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality of the software.- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and bug fixing.- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of software applications.- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Purchasing (MM PO).- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Materials Management (MM) module.- Strong understanding of SAP MM Purchasing processes and functionalities.- Experience in designing and implementing SAP MM PO solutions.- Knowledge of SAP MM integration with other modules like FI, CO, and SD.- Experience in SAP MM configuration and customization.- Understanding of SAP MM master data and transactional data.- Knowledge of SAP MM reporting and analytics tools. Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP Purchasing (MM PO).- This position is based at our Chennai office.- An Application Development education is required.
