Project Role :Software Development Engineer

Project Role Description :Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Summary:As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key decisions, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME

Collaborate and manage the team to perform

Responsible for team decisions

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams

Contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions

Write efficient and high-quality code

Perform unit testing and debugging of software components

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development

Mentor and guide junior team members
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition

Experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IAC)

Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices

Knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns

Experience with version control systems such as Git

Good To Have Skills:Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure

Familiarity with microservices architecture

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition

This position is based at our Pune office

Architect/Professional certifications from GCP/AWS/Azure are required
