Job Description

As a Computer Scientist at Adobe, you will play a crucial role in shaping and leading complex features within our systems. Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional coding tasks, focusing on architecting scalable solutions, integrating complex systems, designing advanced algorithms, making strategic design judgments, and staying ahead of emerging technologies to drive innovation. Your expertise in architectural decision-making and team mentoring will be essential to our success and innovation in the marketing technology space. In this individual contributor role, you will be responsible for designing and architecting new services and features, staying updated on emerging industry technologies and trends, leading all phases of engineering, collaborating with cross-functional teams, building technical specifications and prototypes, participating in issue resolution, and contributing to the development of products. Your role will involve orchestrating with the team to build scalable and efficient solutions, translating intricate product features into actionable insights, and influencing product direction. To excel in this position, you should have 7+ years of experience in technical roles across the product life cycle, possess strong computer science fundamentals, and demonstrate a deep understanding of algorithm design and performance. Additionally, you should have experience in leading teams, building solutions with cloud technologies, and expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Angular, or Vue.js. Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+, TypeScript, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards is crucial. You should also be well-versed in optimizing frontend performance, testing frameworks, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, server-side rendering, and system design principles for large-scale web applications. Your role will require excellent work ethics, strong communication skills, the ability to manage systems development scope, and drive decisions in ambiguous scenarios. A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
