Job Description

ABOUT MERAGI:

Responsibilities

Focus on building and scaling full-stack applications (Django backend + React frontend).
Own architecture decisions, code quality, and best practices across backend, frontend, and DevOps.
Actively contribute code (estimated 60 70% of time hands-on coding).
Mentor and guide engineers in problem-solving, design patterns, and debugging.
Collaborate with other teams to deliver features with high quality and speed.
Monitor performance, reliability, and security across systems.
Drive technical discussions, estimations, and roadmap planning.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Strong proficiency in
Python/Django
(backend APIs, ORM, scaling, performance tuning).
Strong proficiency in
React/JavaScript/TypeScript
(component design, state management, testing).
Hands-on experience with
LLM application development
(e.g., LangChain, RAG pipelines, prompt engineering).
Solid understanding of
DevOps practices
: CI/CD, containerization (Docker), infrastructure as code.
Experience deploying and scaling apps on
AWS
(EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.).
Proficient in
PostgreSQL or MySQL
database design and optimization.
Strong debugging skills and ability to troubleshoot end-to-end issues (frontend to backend to infra).
Exposure to monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).
Prior experience in a startup or fast-moving product environment.
